Isabelle Ioannides

Isabelle Ioannides, PhD, serves as a Senior Policy Analyst and Research Manager in the European Parliamentary Research Service since February 2015, focusing on EU external policies and coordination within various parliamentary committees. Additionally, Isabelle takes on a role as a non-resident Senior Research Fellow at the Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy, concentrating on geopolitical issues in the Eastern Mediterranean and EU enlargement. With extensive experience as a Senior Expert Consultant and Guest Lecturer in peacebuilding, security, and post-conflict reconstruction, Isabelle has held prominent research positions at universities and institutions across Europe, including Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Université Libre de Bruxelles. Educational qualifications include a PhD in International Relations and Security Studies from the University of Bradford, as well as advanced degrees from Sciences Po and the University of Virginia.
