Luis Fernando Blanco

Luis Fernando Blanco, Ph.D., currently serves as the Head of Cabinet for MEP Antonio López-Istúriz White at the European Parliament since July 2022 and as General Coordinator for Centrist Democrat International since October 2021. Previously, Luis held the position of Chief of Cabinet of the Secretary General at the European People's Party from September 2018 to July 2022, focusing on strategic advice and political agenda management. Prior experience includes serving as Project Manager at Konrad Adenauer Stiftung from August 2013 to August 2018, where project coordination and implementation in development policy and political dialogue were key responsibilities. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Political Science from Bielefeld University and a Master's in International Politics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, along with a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from the same institution.
