Samuel Buttigieg

Samuel Buttigieg currently serves as an Accredited Parliamentary Assistant to the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, starting in September 2024. Prior to this role, Samuel held the position of Schuman Trainee in the Cabinet of the President of the European Parliament from October 2023 to May 2024. With legal expertise gained as a Lawyer and Legal Intern at Zerafa Advocates from July 2021 to September 2023, Samuel was also involved with YES-Europe as a member from February 2022 to February 2023, and served as an Assistant Lecturer at Idea Academy in late 2022. In leadership capacities, Samuel was the International Officer for KSU - Kunsill Studenti Universitarji from 2021 to 2022, and held several roles including Vice President and Secretary General at GUG from September 2018 to May 2021. Furthermore, Samuel completed a Summer Legal Internship at J. Portelli Projects in mid-2020. Educationally, Samuel Buttigieg has attained a Master of Arts in Law, a Master in Advocacy, and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Malta, completing studies in September 2023, September 2022, and September 2021 respectively.
