Medical Operations, Player Welfare & Women’s Rugby Lead at European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR)

Maria Gyolcsos is a Governance & Regulation Executive at European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) since October 2018, overseeing the Player Welfare Program, medical operations, and the Anti-doping program, while also managing the Disciplinary Process and promoting the Equality and Diversity Policy. Prior to EPCR, Maria served as a Project Coordinator at the International University Sports Federation, where project management included athlete registration and event support across 34 sports. Previous roles include Competition Coordinator at the Hungarian University Sports Federation, developing international university events, and Communication Manager at the Hungarian Rugby Union, where Maria enhanced communication strategies. Additionally, Maria worked as a Cultural Representative at the Hungarian Cultural Centre in London and taught at various educational institutions. Maria holds two Master of Arts degrees in Hungarian Language and Literature and Philosophy from the University of Szeged.
