Marcelo Fantinato

Marcelo Fantinato is an experienced academic and researcher currently serving as an Associate Professor in Information Systems at Universidade de São Paulo since September 2008. Marcelo holds multiple leadership roles, including Chair of the Graduate Committee of the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities and various positions within the Graduate Program in Information Systems at EACH. Marcelo has also been involved with ERCIS as a Research Affiliate since September 2019 and has had guest researcher roles at Utrecht University and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in 2018 and 2019. Prior experience includes positions at Motorola Mobile Devices as an R&D Specialist and at CPqD as a Test Specialist. Marcelo earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science and a Master of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, following a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual de Maringá.
