Saskia Bos

Saskia Bos is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in pulmonology, currently serving as a Transplant Pulmonologist at UZ Leuven since July 2024. Since April 2023, Saskia has also been active as a Transplant International Editorial Fellow and participates in the ESOT Infectious Disease Task Force for the European Society for Organ Transplantation since October 2022. Additionally, involvement in the ERS Clinical Practice Guideline Methodology Network with the European Respiratory Society has been ongoing since April 2022. Prior experience includes a Clinical Research Associate position in Lung Transplantation at Newcastle University from January 2021 to July 2024, supported by the Paul Corris International Clinical Research Training Scholarship. Early career stages at UZ Leuven included roles as a Pulmonologist and resident in both Respiratory Medicine and Internal Medicine, beginning in August 2014. Education was completed at the KU Leuven Faculty of Medicine (2010-2014), Hasselt University (2007-2010), and Sint-Jan Berchmanscollege Genk (2001-2007).
