Pascal Lapeyre

Pascal Lapeyre has extensive experience in the field of astronomy and engineering, currently serving as the Dome & Main Structure Site Manager for the Extremely Large Telescope at the European Southern Observatory since September 2017. Prior to this role, Pascal held various positions at Thales Alenia Space France, including Work Package Manager for LEO Stations Svalbard and Project Manager for the ALMA European Telescope Production. Pascal also worked as Site Manager at OSF Chile for ALMA European Telescopes production and as Production Manager/System Engineer for the ALMA European Telescope. Pascal began the career as an ALMA Antenna IPT member at the European Southern Observatory. Educational background includes a degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers, completed between 1976 and 1980.
