Irina Duma

Irina Duma is an experienced professional in the field of quality assurance in higher education, currently serving as a member of the ESG Revision Drafting Group for the European Higher Education Area since September 2024, representing the European Students' Union. In addition, Irina is a member of the Steering Committee and QA Pool for the Institutional Evaluation Programme IEP and has held various teaching positions at the Technical University of Cluj Napoca since September 2020. As a member of the Quality Assurance Student Experts' Pool at the European Students' Union since July 2019, Irina has actively contributed to quality assurance initiatives. With a long-standing role as a Student Expert at ARACIS since February 2017, responsibilities include participating in peer reviews and promoting student perspectives in higher education evaluations. Irina Duma holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca and has completed both a Master's degree in Advanced Techniques in Automotive Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering at the same institution, supplemented by an Erasmus+ study abroad program at Politecnico di Torino.
