Maria Christou

Maria Christou is currently a PhD Researcher at Embio Diagnostics Ltd since September 2023 and has held roles as a Laboratory Assistant and Research Assistant at European University Cyprus since September 2022. Previously, Maria served as a Researcher at European University Cyprus from June 2021 to June 2022 and completed an internship focused on the molecular investigation of patients with early-onset obesity at The Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics in July 2020. Maria holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Cancer Biology and Clinical Oncology from European University Cyprus, pursuing this degree since February 2023, and has earned a Master of Science in Cancer Biology (January 2023) and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences (General Microbiology) in June 2021, all from European University Cyprus.
