Marina Georgiou

Marina Georgiou is a Principal Clinical Scientist at MyGene Molecular Diagnostics since June 2018, where the focus is on providing accurate diagnostic services using advanced PCR technology. Additionally, Marina serves as a Senior Lecturer at KES College and a Lecturer at European University Cyprus, contributing to academic leadership since February 2019 and September 2018, respectively. Previously, Marina completed a Ph.D. at Imperial College London, focusing on improving diagnostic systems for resistant choriocarcinoma patients. Marina also held leadership roles at the Imperial College Innovation Forum, including President, overseeing budget management and marketing strategies, and organized the PhD to Consulting Conference aimed at aiding doctoral researchers. Marina's educational background includes a Master of Research in Cancer Biology from Imperial College London and a Bachelor's degree in Genetics from Queen Mary University of London.
