Martina F. Ferracane is a Research Fellow and Academic Project Manager for the Digital Trade Integration Project at the European University Institute since September 2020 and a Max Weber Fellow. Additionally, Martina serves as a Research Associate and DTE Project Manager at the European Centre for International Political Economy (ECIPE) since April 2014, focusing on EU sectoral policies related to international trade and investment, healthcare, digital economy, and innovation. As the Founder and President of FabLab Western Sicily, a non-profit initiative promoting digital education for children and teenagers, Martina has been actively involved in teaching digital fabrication tools. Previous roles include CEO and co-founder of Oral3D, a company providing 3D printing solutions for dentists, and various positions at the European Health Parliament, Garagem FabLab, European Commission, and United Nations, alongside a robust academic background with degrees in Law and Economics from prestigious institutions.
