Sylvain B0yreau

Sylvain Boyreau has extensive work experience in the field of analysis and law enforcement. Sylvain currently holds the position of Head of Team - Senior Analyst at Europol since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at INTERPOL from 2018 to 2021, where they held the roles of Head Analysis Unit - Analytical Coordinator and Team Lead - Crime Intelligence Analyst. From 2009 to 2018, Sylvain worked at Europol again, where they served as Head CT Operational Team - Senior Analyst and Senior Analyst Project Lead. Before that, they worked at Ministère de l'Intérieur et des Outre-mer as a Lead Criminal Intelligence Analyst from 2005 to 2008. Sylvain started their career as a Criminal Investigator at Gendarmerie Nationale from 1995 to 2005.

Sylvain B0YREAU holds a Master's degree 2 in Homeland Security, Law Enforcement, Firefighting and Related Protective Services from Université Côte d'Azur. Sylvain also has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Criminology from Université de Technologie de Troyes. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications in fields such as analysis training, law enforcement solutions, terrorism studies, data science, and forensic computing from institutions like INTERPOL, The Johns Hopkins University, and University College Dublin. Sylvain B0YREAU has also acquired extensive training in operational crime analysis, social network analysis, and intelligence analysis from organizations such as Europol and Gendarmerie Nationale.
