Carlijn Poirters has extensive experience in finance and project management within the environmental sector, primarily with Eurosite - the European Land Conservation Network, where roles include Head of Finance and Senior Project and Finance Officer since July 2002. Prior to Eurosite, Carlijn held various positions such as Network and Project Support Officer and Telephonist and Administrative Worker at CZ Groep Zorgverzekeringen and Glasgow International Airport, respectively. Carlijn holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business & Languages from Hogeschool 's-Hertogenbosch and has completed additional courses in InDesign and Twinfield accounting software. Founded in 1989, the network has grown to include members across Europe – from the Atlantic islands to the Black Sea; and from Scandinavia to the Mediterranean.
