Butch Mederos

Butch Mederos is an experienced project manager and operations leader currently serving as Project Manager at Asplundh Construction since February 2023 and Assistant Vice President of Operations Management at Eurus Energy America Corporation since December 2015. At Eurus Energy, Butch oversees seven wind and four solar projects across North and South America, managing environmental health and safety as well as employee and contractor development. Prior roles include General Manager at AES Wind Generation, where Butch managed multiple wind projects and significantly reduced workplace incidents, and Director of Safety at AES Eletropaulo in Brazil, where compliance and safety metrics improved markedly. Additional leadership experience spans various positions at AES in both Brazil and Georgia, and at Southern California Edison. Academic credentials include a degree in Executive Management from the University of São Paulo and executive courses at the University of Phoenix and University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
