Ernesto Martínez Velasco

Ernesto Martínez Velasco is a seasoned telecommunications professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently, Ernesto serves as Responsable at Grupo MASMOVIL since January 2022, while also holding the position of CIO & Director de Operaciones at Euskaltel since June 2019 and Director de Servicios Técnicos (Red) at Orange España since April 2016. Previous roles include Director of Delivery Service and Technical Maintenance at Jazztel and VP of Network Development Data and IP at Cable & Wireless Panama, among others. Ernesto's career began at Telefónica de España as a Telecommunications Engineer, following education at IE Business School and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where Ernesto obtained an Executive MBA and a degree in Electronics, respectively.
