Sarah Walsh

Sarah Walsh is a skilled engineer specializing in spacecraft subsystems and fleet operations at OneWeb since September 2021. Prior to this role, Sarah served as a PhD student at University College Dublin from September 2017 to September 2021, where the research culminated in a Doctor of Philosophy in Astrophysics. Additionally, Sarah was the AIV Lead for the EIRSAT-1 project, managing assembly and testing procedures for a 2U CubeSat under ESA’s Fly Your Satellite! program. Early in the career, Sarah gained research experience during a summer internship focused on gamma-ray burst afterglows at the School of Physics, UCD. Academic credentials include a BSc in Physics with Astronomy and Space Science from University College Dublin and an Astrophysics BA from the University of California, Berkeley.
