Antonio Rico

Antonio Rico has over 28 years of experience in the field of engineering and construction. Antonio began their career in 1993 as an Engineer/Project Manager for Fletcher General Construction, a commercial, industrial, marine and civil infrastructure engineering and construction firm operating in the Pacific Rim. In 1997, they joined Kiewit, a division formerly owned by Fletcher Challenge Ltd. of New Zealand, as a Commercial Manager. In 2001, they became a Business Consultant/Advisor to the CEO of Red Star Aviation, A.S., a regional aviation services firm and licensed air ambulance operator in Turkey, Eastern Europe, Middle East, and North Africa. In 2002, they moved to Lendlease as a Financial Controller in the PFI Finance Operations. From 2006 to 2008, they were Assistant Vice President for Development, Finance, and Risk Management for Viceroy Hotel Group, a subsidiary of MUBADALA Development Corporation of Abu Dhabi, UAE. From 2008 to 2012, they were Head of Strategic Sourcing Asia-Pacific Region; Australia, India & South-East Asia for Enel Green Power. In 2021, they took on the role of Vice President Strategic Partnerships for EV Connect, a company that works to address our planet’s carbon pollution and to improve transportation by widely enabling electricity as a fuel.

Antonio Rico obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management (Engineering concentration) from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Antonio then went on to earn their MBA in International Management/Finance from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Lastly, they completed an Advanced Certificate for Executives from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2019.
