Elizabeth Byrne has a wealth of experience in the events and art industries. Elizabeth began their career in 2007 as a Gallery Assistant at ArtFirm. From there, they moved to Weiss Gallery in 2009 as an Assistant Curator. In 2010, they joined Loch Gallery, where they held the roles of Gallery Coordinator, Assistant Curator, and Executive Assistant. In 2011, Elizabeth became a Meeting & Event Analyst at Cenovus Energy. Elizabeth then joined e=mc2 events in 2017 as a Casual Event Support. In 2015, Elizabeth moved to Plains Midstream Canada as an Event Producer - Advanced/Senior. Most recently, in 2020, they began working as a Private Fine Art Collections Manager on a freelance basis. In 2021, Elizabeth joined EV Connect as an Events Lead.

Elizabeth Byrne has a diverse educational background. Elizabeth obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Curating in Museums, Galleries and the Art World from Sotheby's Institute of Art in 2021, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Art and Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art in 2020. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art Elizabeth'story, Film and Media - Criticism and Conservation from The University of British Columbia, which they obtained between 2005 and 2009. During this time, they also completed a program in International Studies at The University of Edinburgh. Elizabeth has also completed extended studies in Abstract Painting, Ceramics, Digital Visual Artwork and Drawing from Alberta University of the Arts between 2009 and 2020. Additionally, they have a certification in First Aid from the Canadian Red Cross.
