Prerana Sonawane

Prerana Sonawane has worked in the software engineering field since 2012. In that time, they have held roles at EV Connect, Sarvatantra deviceAMC pvt ltd., Moopon, and Janakalyan Co-Op Bank LTD.

At EV Connect, they worked as a Software Engineer from 2016-2019. There, they developed UI for web app portals, handled backend JAVA for REST API calls, and handled Spring-Mongo queries.

In 2020, Prerana began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Sarvatantra deviceAMC pvt ltd., where they worked with the Software Development Team and Software vendors to establish requirements, coding standards, and monitored guidelines.

In 2016, Prerana also worked as a Java Programmer (part-time) at Moopon. There, they worked on modifying old modules and adding extra features to the social coupon android app.

Finally, Prerana worked as a Junior Java Developer at Janakalyan Co-Op Bank LTD from 2012. There, they developed a basic project regarding displaying customers information, validating them, and displaying their account balance with Java servlets MVC architecture.

Prerana Sonawane obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University between 2008 and 2012. Prerana then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) in Computer Science at California State University, Los Angeles from 2013 to 2015. In addition, they have obtained certifications in MongoDB Aggregation Framework from Coursera in June 2016, Java & Advanced Java Programming from SEED Infotech Ltd in August 2013, and Shaping up with Angular.js from Code School.
