Daniel Luz

Daniel Luz has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Daniel is currently serving as the CTO & Co-Founder at Eva since March 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Locaweb from April 2019 to November 2020, where they primarily focused on frontend development using JavaScript and VueJS, while also supporting backend development and the business team.

Before joining Locaweb, Daniel co-founded a startup called bizubox in December 2017, where they played a key role in empowering small/medium retailers through data processing. During their time at bizubox, they had the opportunity to work with various technologies as per the requirements of the software. The startup was accelerated by Startup Farm, one of the largest startup accelerators in Latin America.

Daniel also worked as a Freelance Software Developer in 2017, where they worked with a team of freelancers and primarily focused on startup Minimum Viable Products (MVPs). Daniel used Ruby on Rails extensively for full stack development and provided valuable insights to clients regarding their product and technology decisions.

In 2016, Daniel worked as a Software Engineer at Novatics, where they collaborated with clients to build high-quality software products and improve their businesses. Daniel worked closely with designers and developers, gaining expertise in Agile methodologies. Their skills mainly revolved around Ruby on Rails, Angular, HTML/CSS.

As a Software Developer at CJr - Empresa Junior de Computacao Unb in 2016, Daniel focused on Ruby on Rails stack. Additionally, they gained some experience in client handling, negotiations, and management tasks within a holacracy management structure.

Daniel kick-started their career as an Intern at Tribunal de Contas da União in 2015, where they were part of the architecture team working on Java projects. Their responsibilities included developing custom checks to enforce architectural rules, improving CI scripts, and developing Java REST web services.
