Timothy Reuter

General Manager USA and VP Policy and Innovation at EVA

Timothy Reuter has worked in diverse organizations ranging from startups to government agencies. Timothy started their career as a Foreign Affairs Officer at the U.S Department of State in 2006. Timothy went on to join the U.S Agency for International Development (USAID) as a Foreign Service Officer. Later, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Development Transformations, where they led teams in training US government personnel on project planning and conflict needs assessment. In 2013, they co-founded AirDroids and, soon after, they founded Drone User Group Network, which is the largest global community network for educating people on building and operating drones. From 2015 to 2017, they served as CEO and Founder of Service Robot Labs. In 2017, they joined the World Economic Forum where they held executive positions, including Head of Drones and Tomorrow's Airspace and Head of Aerospace and Drones. Timothy worked as a Program Manager at Google where they led research on international markets. At Microsoft, they were the Principal PM Manager and developed a plan for a new business line applying AI to aerospace. Currently, they are General Manager USA and VP Policy and Innovation at EVA.

Timothy Reuter completed their high school education in 1995 at Sidwell Friends School. Timothy then went on to earn their Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology and Economics at Connecticut College from 1995 to 1999. In 2001, they began attending the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) where they earned a Master of Arts degree in Middle East Studies and International Economics in 2004. During their time at SAIS, from 2003 to 2004, they also studied Arabic Language at The American University in Cairo as a non-degree student.
