Paul Barrett is a seasoned UI Engineer currently employed at evaluagent® since August 2024. Prior experience includes serving as UX Lead at Nominet from September 2020 to April 2024, where responsibilities encompassed wireframing and prototype development for domain management systems using Miro and Figma, along with stakeholder collaboration. As a Frontend Developer at Nominet, Paul specialized in React, Gitlab CI/CD, and agile methodologies, contributing to both frontend development and UX discussions. Prior roles include Web Developer at Global Initiative Ltd, ChemBio Hub Developer and Senior Web Developer at The Structural Genomics Consortium, Java Developer at GTI Media, and eScience Developer at Evotec, showcasing expertise in various programming languages and user experience design across different sectors. Educational qualifications include an MRes in Bioinformatics & Computational Biology from the University of Leeds and a BSc(hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Liverpool.
