William Luke Bennison has a strong background in software engineering and development. William Luke has held various roles in the industry since 2012.

From September 2022 onwards, Bennison served as the Principal Software Engineer at EvaluAgent®, where they led architectural decisions and backend development. William Luke focused on scaling and re-architecting the application and also spearheaded the development of EvaluAgent's Natural Language/conversation intelligence stack using Machine Learning and other technologies.

Prior to their role as Principal Software Engineer, Bennison worked at EvaluAgent® as a Senior Software Engineer from March 2018 to September 2022. In this position, they were responsible for leading software and application architecture decisions, backend development, and system scalability.

From January 2015 to March 2018, Bennison worked as a Mid-level Software Engineer & Business Analyst at EvaluAgent®, contributing to the migration of a legacy SOA monolith to distributed PHP microservices. William Luke managed big data workloads and implemented highly scalable, multi-tenant, containerized architecture.

Bennison's work experience also includes a role as a Software Engineer at a remote development team, where they provided customer experience and social-commerce solutions to blue-chip call center clients. William Luke led the development of a social commerce platform and designed award-winning customer experience management solutions.

In addition to their industry experience, Bennison served as a Graduate Demonstrator at Teesside University from October 2012 to October 2014. In this role, they provided support and assistance to students in the School of Computing, sharing their knowledge and experience in the tech industry.

William Luke Bennison completed their education chronologically as follows:

From 2007 to 2009, they attended Redcar & Cleveland College and obtained a BTEC National Diploma in IT Practitioners Level 3 with a specialization in Software Engineering.

From 2009 to 2012, they enrolled at Teesside University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Computer Science with a focus on Web Development.

In terms of additional certifications, in February 2007, they obtained a Comp TIA A+ certification in Computer Technician from Comp TIA.

In July 2009, they received a BTEC National Diploma Level 3 in IT Practitioners - Software Engineering with a Triple Grade Distinction from EDEXCEL.

In August 2015, they obtained two certifications related to Leadership Skills and Practice from Skillsfirst Awards Ltd. Additionally, in February 2015, they achieved a certification in Business Analysis Practice from BCS.
