Alison Bruton

Alison Bruton currently serves as Records Specialist II and previously held the role of Administrative Assistant in the Department of Natural & Applied Science at Evangel University since July 2024. Prior to this, Alison worked as Procurement and Capital Projects Manager and Purchasing Agent for the Effingham County, GA Board of Commissioners from January 2020 to August 2024. Earlier experience includes serving as Interim City Manager and City Clerk/WaterWorks Clerk with the City of Guyton from April 2016 to November 2019, as well as working in childcare at Effingham YMCA from May 2013 to May 2016. Alison also held the position of Director of Children's Ministries at Islands Community Church from August 2014 to February 2015 and worked as a Staffing Coordinator for StaffCo. from August 2010 to March 2011. Alison Bruton attended Georgia Southern University from 2006 to 2008 and graduated from Savannah Arts Academy in 2006.
