Derek Schmidly

Derek Schmidly is the majority owner of Auxan Capital Advisors, LLC, with experience in managing investments and stock market research dating back to 2004. Since August 2010, Derek has served as an adjunct faculty member at Evangel University, advising and coordinating the Student Investment Group which manages a portfolio of approximately $475,000 for educational purposes. Prior experience includes a role as a graduate assistant at the Missouri Innovation Center from August 2006 to May 2008, where Derek conducted market research for start-up ventures and contributed to business plans presented to investors. Derek holds an MBA in Finance and Management from the University of Missouri Trulaske College of Business and a BA in Biblical Languages from Evangel University.
