Marcia Cooney

Marcia Cooney, SPHR, is an accomplished human resources leader with extensive experience in strategic HR operations and talent management. Currently serving as the Director of Human Resources Operations at Evangelical Community Hospital since June 2022, Marcia previously held various leadership roles at Bucknell University from 2013 to 2022, including Executive Director of HR Services, where responsibilities encompassed talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management. Marcia's earlier career includes significant positions at Evangelical Community Hospital, from Director of Human Resources to roles in managed care and quality improvement, as well as experience as an Employment Assistant at Fidelity Mutual Life Insurance Group. Marcia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bucknell University.
