Tamara Persing is the Vice President Patient Care Services/Chief Nursing Officer at Evangelical Community Hospital since April 2017. Prior to this role, Tamara served as the Chief Nursing Officer at Geisinger Health System from September 2009 to April 2017, and as the Director Infection Prevention & Control and Quality Improvement Specialist - ProvenCare at Evangelical Community Hospital from January 1999 to September 2009. Tamara holds a Certificate in Improvement Advisor Program from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement, a MS in Healthcare Administration from the University of St. Francis, a BSN in Nursing from Graceland University, and a Nursing Diploma from Geisinger Medical Center School of Nursing.

Our Story Established nearly a century ago as an infirmary in a local home for the aged and orphaned, Evangelical Community Hospital has continuously grown and evolved to meet the health and wellness needs of the surrounding communities.
