Scott Sterner

Scott Sterner has a diverse work experience in various roles within the religious community. Scott is currently serving as the Lead Coach at The Church Evangelism Institute of the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College. Prior to this, they held positions at Forest Lakes District EFCA as the Associate District Superintendent and Director Of Church Multiplication. Scott also worked as the Director Of Operations at The ReachNetwork within EFCA. Scott has experience as a Pastor and Church Planter at The Vine Church in Madison, Wisconsin, and as a Pastor of Programming and Operations as well as Pastor of Worship and the Arts at Parkview Church. Earlier in their career, they served as a Worship Pastor at Grand Avenue Baptist Church.

Scott Sterner has a diverse education history spanning over several years. Scott began their educational journey in 1992 at Iowa State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music. After successfully completing their undergraduate studies in 1995, they enrolled at the University of Iowa and obtained a Sacred Music Certificate in 1999.

In 2007, Scott Sterner furthered their education by attending Covenant Theological Seminary, where they pursued a Master of Arts in Theological Studies. Scott dedicated three years to this program and successfully completed it in 2010.

In 2016, Scott Sterner pursued an additional degree, earning a Master of Arts in Leadership with a specialization in Organizational Leadership from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. This program lasted for one year, allowing him to expand their knowledge in leadership and organizational dynamics.

Most recently, from 2017 to 2022, Scott Sterner attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, where they pursued a Master of Arts in Theological Studies (MATS) with a focus on Theology/Theological Studies. This program lasted for five years and provided him with a comprehensive understanding of theological concepts.

In addition to their formal education, Scott Sterner has also obtained various certifications. Scott is a certified SEND Network Trainer through the North American Mission Board and holds a license as a Pastor from the EFCA. Scott has also obtained a license as a SEND Network Coach, also from the North American Mission Board.

Overall, Scott Sterner has a strong background in theological studies, with a focus on music and organizational leadership, complemented by their certifications in pastoral and training capacities.
