Tom Becker

Tom Becker has over 25 years of experience in education and ministry. Since July 1997, Tom has served as the Roma Ministry Leader on the Community Development Team at EFCA, focusing on igniting a worldwide church planting movement among the Roma people. Prior to this role, Tom was a Missionary Church Planter, working with the Církev bratrská denomination on evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, and church planting, particularly among the Roma in Eastern Europe. Tom's earlier career includes teaching as a Severely Emotionally Impaired educator at Grand Rapids Public Schools and working as a substitute teacher in Holland Public Schools. Tom's professional journey began with an assembler role at Prince Industries while pursuing education studies. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Education, with a specialization in Special Education-Emotionally Impaired and Psychology from Hope College, as well as further studies at Columbia International University.
