Director, Business Capture at Evanhoe

Bill Saunders has a diverse work experience in various industries. Bill started their career in 1992 as a Base Civil Engineer in the United States Air Force, where they managed a civil engineer unit and oversaw environmental compliance and base natural/cultural resources programs. Bill later served as the Commander of the 778 Civil Engineer Squadron, responsible for the maintenance, repair, and improvement of facilities supporting an Air Logistics Center.

In 2002, Bill transitioned to the role of Chief, Transformation Division in the United States Air Force, where they led the development of operational support concepts and implemented business process reengineering initiatives. Bill was also involved in identifying and creating collaborations to increase mission effectiveness and efficiency.

Bill's experience then led him to become a Senior Adjunct Professor at Norwich University, where they mentored and provided instruction to adult learners in their online MBA program.

In 2006, Bill joined Ball Aerospace & Technologies, Corp. as the Deputy Business Area Manager, where they played a key role in the transformation of the business area and managed multiple IDIQ contracts. Bill later became the Deputy Program Manager, overseeing the activities of subcontractor teammates supporting a $600 million contract with the Air Force National Air & Space Intelligence Center.

Most recently, Bill has been working as the Director of Business Capture at Evanhoe & Associates, Inc. where they are responsible for capturing new business opportunities.

Throughout their career, Bill has demonstrated strong leadership skills, project management expertise, and a commitment to continuous learning and development.

Bill Saunders, PMP, MBA has an extensive education history. Bill obtained a Master of Science in Electronic E-Commerce/Electronic Commerce from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2005 to 2007. In 2005 to 2006, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Dayton, with a focus on Post MBA Certificate in Technology Enhanced Business. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2001, Bill pursued another Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Webster University, specializing in Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Furthermore, Bill holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Troy University, which they obtained from 1986 to 1988, focusing on Public Administration.

In addition to their academic achievements, Bill Saunders also obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2015.
