Scott Peatross

Scott Peatross is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in probate law. Currently serving as a Shareholder at Evans Petree PC since April 2022, Scott represents families and businesses in estates and probate-related matters. Additionally, Scott has held the role of Shelby County Public Administrator since 2005, where appointments are made by judges to serve in fiduciary capacities for complex cases involving estates, trusts, conservatorships, and guardianships. Prior partnerships at Bourland, Heflin, Alvarez, Minor & Matthews, PLC from 2009 to April 2022 and Bateman Gibson, LLC from 1997 to 2009 further underscore Scott's expertise in the legal field. Scott holds a Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University, obtained between 1993 and 1996, and a Bachelor of Arts from Rhodes College.
