Hugo Penedones

Hugo Penedones is the Co-Founder and CTO at Inductiva Research Labs, where Hugo focuses on AI-accelerated Simulation-as-a-Service, AI for Science and Engineering, and Scientific Machine Learning. Prior to this, Hugo worked as a Research Engineer at Google DeepMind, where Hugo was a founding member of the AlphaFold project. Hugo also has experience in machine learning and software engineering roles at companies such as Microsoft Bing, nViso/EPFL, Idiap Research Institute, NEC Laboratories America, Inc., European Space Agency, Bullet Solutions, Siemens, and Microsoft. Hugo graduated with a degree in Informatics and Computing Engineering from EPFL and Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
