Tom Tyler is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles spanning over a decade. Currently at Evans & Sutherland since April 2022, Tom previously worked as a Mechanical Engineer at American Oxygen, where responsibilities included designing and testing oxygen generators. Prior to that, Tom served as a Thesis Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Utah, focusing on 3D printing for soft robotics applications. Tom also held positions as a Manufacturing Engineer at Albany Engineered Composites, contributing to the Boeing 787 Dreamliner project, and as a Process Safety Engineer at Rio Tinto, where safety management and compliance were key focuses. Tom’s engineering career began as an Automotive Mechanic at Horner's Chevron, showcasing a diverse skill set. Tom holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah.
