Karen Lowry

Karen Lowry has extensive experience in the education field, currently serving as a Teacher at Hyde Park Elementary School since August 2018. In addition to this role, Lowry has been a Special Education Paraprofessional at Evanston/Skokie School District 65 since August 2017. Previous positions include Instructional Aide at Woodlawn Middle School from August 2015 to June 2016 and Assistant Water Polo Coach at Mundelein High School District 120 for a brief period in early 2016. Karen holds a Master of Education in Inclusion and Special Educational Needs from Queen's University Belfast (2016-2017) and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2011-2015). Karen completed high school at Adlai E. Stevenson High School, graduating in 2011.
