Emily Shaw

Emily Shaw is an experienced educator and coach with a strong background in teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Middle School Spanish Teacher at Evansville Christian School since April 2012, Emily also holds the position of Head Cheer Coach, overseeing multiple cheerleading squads and founding the school's competitive cheer program. With expertise in English Language Arts, Emily has designed curricula that align with educational standards and meets student needs. Additional roles at Evansville Christian School include serving as a Remote Learning Liaison and a Seventh Grade Team Leader, where communication and collaboration with staff, students, and parents were key responsibilities. Prior experience includes working as a Cheerleading Instructor with the Fellowship of Christian Cheerleaders and a Customer Service Representative at Chick-fil-A. Emily holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Science in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Indiana Wesleyan University.
