Paula Poorter

Paula Poorter has a diverse range of work experience in the HR and recruitment field. Paula recently worked at EVBox as the HR Transformation Lead, where they played a significant role in leading HR projects and overseeing talent acquisition. Prior to that, they served as the Global Head of Talent Acquisition, responsible for attracting and recruiting top talent for the company. Before joining EVBox, Paula worked at PageGroup, where they held various positions, including Senior Manager Talent Acquisition and Talent Acquisition Manager. Paula started their career at the Cape Town International Convention Centre as a Marketing & Sales trainee.

Paula Poorter attended the Willem Blaue College from 1998 to 2004, where they pursued a VWO level education with a focus on Physics, Mathematics B, Chemistry, Biology B, Economics, and Management and Organisation. Paula then enrolled in Hotelschool The Hague from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. From 2009 to 2012, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Business Studies with a specialization in Entrepreneurship and Marketing at the University of Amsterdam. Recently, in October 2021, Paula obtained the PRINCE2® Foundation Certification through training at The Knowledge Academy.
