Ruud van Sloten is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the fields of transport, infrastructure, and logistics. As a Partner and Managing Consultant at EVConsult since October 2016, Ruud plays a pivotal role in consulting on sustainable energy solutions. Previously, Ruud served as Project Leader for energy and charging infrastructure for the IJssel-Vecht bus concession at Provincie Overijssel from April 2019 to March 2021, overseeing the implementation of infrastructure for 246 electric buses. Ruud's earlier career included significant roles at Policy Research Corporation, including Managing Consultant, and a tenure at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management focusing on the implementation of electric driving strategies. Ruud's educational background includes a Master of Science in Transport, Infrastructure & Logistics from Delft University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Economics & Business from Erasmus University Rotterdam, alongside additional studies in Systems Engineering at Delft University of Technology.

We provide companies and government bodies with optimal support in their transition to zero emission mobility We offer support with formulating strategies and provide project management in the dynamic world of electric mobility. What’s more, we orchestrate EV projects and processes from start to finish. We have been active in the field of electric mobility since 2008. This makes us the first and largest independent electric mobility consultancy in the world. While based in the Netherlands and Belgium, our ambitions extend worldwide because energy transition is not linked to particular regions. We have, to date, carried out a large number of international EV projects in countries including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, India, Israel and Morocco. By operating actively in the EV sector from the start, we have built up the knowledge and expertise needed to provide sound, independent consultancy services. In our efforts to stay ahead of the latest developments, we invest in scientific research and innovation. In order to accelerate developments in electric mobility, we have joined forces to conduct pilot projects and offer research programmes with universities such as the Delft University of Technology, the Eindhoven University of Technology and the VU University in Amsterdam. Together with our research partners, we test the latest technological and social innovations in the world of e-mobility. We also serve as a bridge between market and research parties, connecting them within the context of a range of projects focusing on creating future-proof EV solutions.
