Aparna Acharekar

Aparna Acharekar is the Co-Founder of Eve World. Aparna is responsible for building a community of empowered women through multi-format content. Prior to their current role, Aparna was the OTT Content Programming Head at ZEE5, where they led the content strategy, original content commissioning and acquisition of content in India. Aparna also hired and led a 15-member creative and production team responsible for delivering original series and movies across Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali and Marathi. Additionally, Aparna has held the position of VP - Content Head (OTT) at dittoTV and OZEE, where they were responsible for launching new product features and business verticals.

Aparna Acharekar has a post graduate diploma in e-business from the Welingkar Institute of Management, a PG diploma in communication and media development from the Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women's University, and a BSc in biotechnology and microbiology from the University of Mumbai. Aparna has also completed an online course in consumer neuroscience and neuromarketing from the Copenhagen Business School, a course in transmedia storytelling from the UNSW, a leadership development programme from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a Harvard Manage Mentor Programme from Harvard Business Publishing. Aparna is also YouTube certified for audience growth and digital rights management.
