Elizabeth Churaman currently serves as the Harris County Foster Grandparents Project Director at the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center since March 2022. Previously, Elizabeth held the role of Field Organizer at NextGen America from November 2021 to March 2022 and was a Library Service Specialist-Youth at the City of Houston from July 2019 to November 2021, where responsibilities included front desk tasks and community outreach. In 2020, Elizabeth worked as an Organizational and Effectiveness Intern at Cheniere Energy, Inc. and as a Civic Engagement Fellow for the Asian Pacific American Labor Alliance, focusing on labor rights and voter engagement. Prior experience includes serving as a Policy Analyst at the Texas Legislative Study Group and as a Level 2 Behavior Therapist Supervisor at The Shape of Behavior from 2016 to 2018. Elizabeth Churaman holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Sam Houston State University and further education at the University of Houston.
