Pouyan Taghipour has a diverse work experience starting from their role as a Research Scholar at National ICT Australia in 2008. Pouyan then worked as a Research Assistant at the University of British Columbia, where they focused on designing an environmentally aware smart wheelchair. In 2011, Pouyan co-founded CocoCard and held the position of Co-Founder until September 2013. Pouyan then joined Clio - Legal Practice Management Software as an Android and Ruby on Rails Developer, contributing until October 2016. During this time, they also co-founded Coinfresh from December 2012 to December 2014. Currently, Pouyan is the Co-founder and CTO of Event Temple since October 2016.
Pouyan Taghipour began their education journey in 2002 at Shiraz University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2007. Pouyan then pursued further education at The Australian National University from 2007 to 2009, graduating with a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Systems Engineering. Pouyan's academic pursuits led him to The University of British Columbia from 2010 to 2012, where they initially pursued a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering but did not complete the program.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Pouyan Taghipour obtained the Certified ScrumMaster certification from Scrum Alliance in February 2014.
