Steven Bengtson

Steven Bengtson is an experienced software engineer currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Event Temple since November 2024. Prior to this role, Steven held the position of Senior Staff Software Engineer, Team Lead, and Architect at Learn to Win, where efforts focused on rebuilding a responsive and performant application. Steven's career includes significant contributions at Epic for Kids as a Senior Software Engineer on a PHP API, and work on the RMRV project at AlayaCare. Other notable roles include leading UI development for Maestro UI at Illumina, developing an online tutoring platform at Varsity Tutors, and serving as C.T.O. at TimeMoneyStuff Inc. Steven's foundational experience was built through early roles at Shaw Communications and RevenueWire Inc., where, among other responsibilities, processes for improved development practices were established.
