Carlos Lantigua

Carlos Lantigua has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Carlos is currently working as a Software Engineer II at Eventbrite, where they have played a key role in reducing infrastructure costs and improving organizer load times. Prior to this, Carlos worked at SingleStone as a Software Engineer - Consultant and Software Engineer - Associate Consultant. Carlos also worked at BloomTech as a Mentor, providing professional guidance and interview practice to lambda students and graduates. At BloomTech, they also served as a Team Lead, overseeing a group of students and conducting code reviews. Carlos began their career at Spirit AeroSystems as a Quality Assurance professional, where they performed inspections and documented non-conforming materials. Carlos also served in the United States Marine Corps as a Distribution Management Specialist.

Carlos Lantigua began their education journey in 2009 at Full Sail University, where they pursued a degree in Game and Interactive Media Design. However, they did not complete the program and left in 2011. In 2018, Carlos enrolled in BloomTech, where they studied Full Stack Web and further developed their skills in Computer Science and Web Development. Carlos obtained additional certifications to enhance their knowledge, including Introduction to AWS from A Cloud Guru in November 2019, Computer Science with Full-Stack Web Development Emphasis from BloomTech in May 2019, MERN Stack Front to Back: Full Stack React, Redux & Node from Udemy in December 2018, Introduction to JavaScript from Treehouse in April 2018, and the FullStack Development track from Treehouse in March 2018.
