Site Reliability Engineer at Eventbrite

Matheus Leal began their work experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at IBM in 2017. During this time, they focused on developing chatbots, managing data, and creating web applications. In 2018, they joined Globo as a Junior Infrastructure Engineer and later transitioned to the role of Infrastructure Engineer. At Globo, Matheus worked in high-performance teams to develop and maintain tools for infrastructure operations and software development. Their responsibilities included tasks such as cloud architecture and management, pipeline development for continuous integration and delivery, ensuring application observability, applying provisioning and configuration tools for infrastructure services, automation development to reduce toil, and deployment and management of applications in a Kubernetes environment. Matheus's most recent position is as a Site Reliability Engineer at Eventbrite, starting in 2023.

From 2011 to 2013, Matheus received an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, although the field of study is unspecified.

Between 2015 and 2020, they pursued a Bachelor's degree at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, majoring in Computer Engineering.

Furthermore, in August 2020, Matheus obtained a certification called "Architecting with Google Kubernetes Engine Specialization" from Coursera.

Currently, Matheus is working towards a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Networks and Distributed Systems at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, which they began in 2021 and is expected to complete in 2023.
