Mikaila Weaver

Mikaila Weaver has a diverse work experience starting with their current role as a Principal Product Designer at Eventbrite, where they serve as the Design Operations Lead specializing in design systems and tooling. Prior to that, they worked as a University Lecturer at the University of Southern California. Mikaila also held the position of Senior Product Designer at Territory Foods from February 2020 to July 2021. Before that, Mikaila served as the Product Design Lead at Joymode from March 2019 to January 2020 and as a Product Designer from September 2018 to March 2019. Mikaila worked briefly as a Product Designer at Fair.com and JOANY. Earlier in their career, they served at R/GA, starting as an Associate Experience Designer in May 2016 and eventually becoming a Senior Experience Designer. Mikaila also gained experience as a Creative Intern at VML and held positions in advertising and account operations at SmartBrief. Mikaila started their career as a Production Intern at Comcast SportsNet.

Mikaila Weaver holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Business/Branding, Experience Design from Virginia Commonwealth University. Mikaila completed their master's degree program at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Language and Communication Media, with a focus on Spanish and Visual Media, from American University. Mikaila attended American University from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, Mikaila obtained a Certificate of Spanish Translation from American University in May 2012.
