Uchenna Abakporo has an extensive and diverse work experience. They currently hold the position of Head of Product Marketing, Boost & Ads at Eventbrite since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Product Marketing, Amazon Advertising at Amazon from November 2021 to September 2022. Before joining Amazon, Uchenna was a Product Marketing Manager at Facebook from January 2020 to November 2021. Their responsibilities at Facebook included leading product marketing and go-to-market strategy for Facebook's Ads Manager for small and medium businesses, creating sales enablement materials, and collaborating with various teams to develop and adopt enterprise-grade business products.

Prior to their role at Facebook, Uchenna held positions at Amazon as a Senior Product Manager for Amazon Devices from October 2017 to December 2019. In this role, they led product development, sales, and marketing of accessories and services, managed the $100M device accessories business, and provided updates to leadership on growth plans. They also served as a Product Manager for Amazon Fresh from May 2015 to October 2017.

Uchenna's work experience also includes a brief tenure at General Motors as a Product Marketing intern for OnStar in 2014. They started their career at Toyota North America, where they worked as a Senior Design Engineer from May 2011 to July 2013, and as a Design Engineer from June 2006 to May 2011. During their time at Toyota, Uchenna led various initiatives including automating the engine packaging process, implementing process improvements to reduce ergonomic burden and defects, and designing part automation processes.

Uchenna Abakporo completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Indiana University Bloomington from August 2013 to May 2015.

Uchenna Abakporo pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota from 2002 to 2006. Later, from 2013 to 2015, Uchenna achieved a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Indiana University Bloomington, with a focus on Finance and Marketing.
