Spencer Martin

Spencer Martin is an Advisor Service Associate at Eventide. Spencer previously worked as a Financial Analyst for Merrill Lynch from May 2017 to August 2017 and as a Minister for Rise Church from June 2018 to July 2020.

Spencer has always had a passion for helping others. As an intern for the top-producing team in the Indiana market of Merrill Lynch, they made several positive improvements to assist the team. Spencer revamped and piloted an entire new system of documenting of client meetings, their concerns, and goals going forward. From creating this, they used this system and created binders for clients as they came in to streamline both the efficiency and documentation of each client meeting. Spencer also trained Financial Advisors in digital adoption of the Merrill Lynch app and website to grow the advisor/client relationship.

At Rise Church, Spencer lead a group of 25 members in identifying and executing the purpose, mission, and development of the group. Spencer's goal was to magnify the influence and presence of Alpha Omega in the Bloomington community. Spencer designed creative initiatives, spoke weekly on topics of the Bible, personal spirituality, and navigating life in college, and engaged the community to create positive influence and a desirable place of worship.

Spencer’s experience with both financial planning and ministry have given him a unique perspective that they bring to their current role as Advisor Service Associate at Eventide. In this role, they provide administrative support to financial advisors and helps clients with account servicing needs. Spencer is dedicated to providing exceptional service and is always looking for ways to improve the client experience.

Spencer Martin attended Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School and then went on to Indiana University Bloomington where they earned their Bachelor's degree in Finance and General.
