Hootan Kaboli

Hootan Kaboli is the Vice President of Facility Operations & Services at Events DC. Hootan previously worked as the Assistant Director of Property Operations for Hilton Worldwide from January 2013 to December 2016. In this role, they were in charge of departmental operations, mechanical equipment, capital projects, budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and energy/utility maximization for 1,070 guest rooms, 100,000 square feet of meeting space, and 1,000,000 square feet of total hotel space. Kaboli oversaw a team of 38+ specialized team members including operating engineers, HVAC mechanics, general maintenance personnel, plumbers, landscapers, carpenters, locksmiths, and painters.

Hootan Kaboli has a masters in systems design and project leadership from Cornell University College of Engineering as well as a bachelor's degree in economics from James Madison University.
