Ryan Sutton has over 10 years of professional work experience, starting with their role as an iTAC Computer Technician at Kansas State University in 2011. In 2012, they became a UDC Student Engineer at GE Aviation, followed by a Software Engineer role at Surface Systems and Instruments in 2014. In 2015, Ryan was hired as an Engineering Tools Specialist at GE Aviation, where they programmed in C# and Python to improve the functionality of IBM Rational Teams Concert planning system. In 2016, they joined Google as a Software Engineer, where they were hired to improve Google Payments validation workflows and developed a new credit card verification system within the payments infrastructure. In 2019, Ryan became a Software Engineer III at Aspen Mesh, where they created Istio service mesh enhancements and custom Envoy packet capture technology. Ryan is currently a Senior Software Engineer at EvenUp.
