George Stuart Mendenhall has a diverse work experience in the field of cardiology and electrophysiology. George Stuart started their career in 1999 as a Research Fellow at Harvard Medical School, where they worked until 2003. George Stuart then joined UPMC as an Assistant Professor in Cardiac Electrophysiology, a role they held until 2017. During this time, they also worked as a Cardiologist and Researcher at Scripps Memorial Hospital. In 2017, Mendenhall became the Chief Medical Officer at Everbeat, where they are responsible for designing devices and platforms in cardiology to prevent and diagnose arrhythmias.
George Stuart Mendenhall attended Harvard University from 1994 to 1998, where they earned their A.B. degree in Chemistry and Physics. Following this, they pursued their medical education at Harvard Medical School from 1998 to 2003, earning their MD degree with honors in the HST field. In addition to their academic qualifications, Mendenhall also holds certifications from the FAA as a Private Pilot, including Instrument, Complex, High Performance, and Tailwheel ratings.
