Visal Parola MSc MBA is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in technology management and digital transformation. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Everbridge since October 2020, Visal previously held roles including Chief Technology Officer at AFerry, where a significant digital transformation was achieved through automation and cloud migration. Prior positions include Head of Technology at Alpharooms.com, where accountability for the entire technology organization was undertaken, and key development roles at Hotels4u.com, NetFortuna Consulting, and Ness Technologies. Visal began a career in software development at MindTree and holds an MBA from Henley Business School, along with degrees in Computer Science and Electronics.
